Entrepreneurial opportunity for a versatile Software Engineer

Experienced and well-funded startup team with a disruptive touchscreen haptic technology seeking a Software Engineer.   The position will involve all aspects of software development from design and creation of user interface and application flow to application architecture, hardware driver interface, and test execution.   Role will also entail wearing many hats in a startup environment, thus providing a large scope of exposure to guiding product decisions.  Opportunity in a fun and fast paced environment with a close-knit group sharing the same goal, so individual must be a proactive, self-starter while being a good team player. 

Relevant areas of skill include:

• Design and implementation of GUI applications
• C++, Java, Windows programming
• Human/Machine Interfaces
• Mobile/hardware applications

Experience with the following preferred but not required:

• Design and implementation of applications/games using 2D/3D graphics engines
• SoC and microcontroller interface and coding
• Touch screens and/or sensors
• Haptic technologies
• Web programming

Due to exposure to all aspects of the business including interactions with customers, suppliers, and investors, this individual must have strong presentation, written and oral communication skills.
